EVERY ATHLETE WILL HAVE 120″ TO DO THEIR BEST. IN THESE 2′ EVERY ATHLETE MAY ASK FOR 3 BREAKS. EVERY TIME AN ATHLETE REQUESTS A BREAK, THE OTHER ONE WILL START PERFORMING.
EXAMPLE: the athlete A starts, the 2 minutes start, after 20” he asks for the break. The countdown of athlete A will stop at: 1’40”, it will therefore be the turn of the athlete B who will perform for the number of seconds in his opinion ideal before requesting his first break (he could request it after a few seconds or run the whole set). If, for example, the athlete B called the break after 30″, his timer would stop at 1.30″ and his opponent would start again with the countdown of 1’40.
To sum up: Race time: 120″. Max number of breaks: 3. Breaks can be called at any time by the athletes showing the appropriate break signal (X formed by the arms) to the table judges.
THE WINNER OF 1st-2nd PLACE PHASE 5 WILL BE DECLARED BURNINGATE INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION
JUDGMENT SET RANKING / 1 VS 1
IN THIS PHASE THE SCORE OF EACH ATHLETE WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE AVERAGE OF THE SUM OF THE POINTS ASSIGNED BY EACH JUDGE.
PT JUDGE A + PT JUDGE B + PT JUDGE C = ATHLETE TOTAL SCORE / 3
1 VS 1
THE MATCHES’ RESULT WILL BE DECIDED BY THE SCORE THAT EACH JUDGE WILL GIVE THE TWO ATHLETES IN THE CHALLENGE.
IN THE EXAMPLE ABOVE: THE ATHLETE 1 IS AWARDED THE TURN OF THE ROUND WITH THE SCORE OF 2 – 1.
IN THE RARE CASE IN WHICH THE FOLLOWING SITUATION SHOULD OCCUR:
I.E. 1 – 1 (WITH A JUDGE THAT STATES THE DRAW 21-21), THE WINNER WILL BE DECIDED ACCORDING TO THE SUM OF THE POINTS. THE ATHLETE THAT OBTAINS THE HIGHEST SCORE WILL WIN THE MATCH.
IF EVEN THE SUM OF THE POINTS RESULTS IN A TIE, THE ACCESS TO THE NEXT STAGE WILL BE EARNED BY THE ATHLETE WHO WILL HAVE THE HIGHEST SCORE AFTER THE BONUS FLOW SUBTRACT
